Location:
South of Delhi
Mehrauli is located at the outskirts of Delhi City. It is the
southern end of Delhi and sets adjoining to Gurgaon. The region is
famous for abiding Qutab complex of monuments within its vicinity.
It lies quite close to one of the heritage sites of Delhi - Qutub
Minar. The area encloses many tombs in its vicinity. Balban Tomb,
Madhi - Masjid, Sultan Garhi Tomb, Palam Mosque are few to name.
The region is quite well planned and well lay out. The region also
has Mehrauli Darbar complex which is at 2 km from Qutub Minar.Being
a residential area, you will find many schools and hospitals in
close proximity. Resorts like Kairali Health resort are structured
keeping in mind the health of the residents.
Jawahar Lal Nehru University, Indian Institute of Mass
Communication and several other educational instituted for higher
studies are situated here. Gradually, it has turned into an
institutional area in Delhi.
